A new growing area
Post and Rail Fencing
I have been volunteering at Huckleberries Nurture Farm CIC for a number of years. Initially as part of my Duke of Edinburgh Silver and Gold award and more recently helping with general maintenance. One project I undertook was the installation of post and rail fencing to create a growing area. I completed this with a friend in two days.
Willow Dome
As part of this new growing area for the chidlren, we also created a living Willow structure to create shade by planting and weaving the willow to form the dome shape.
Animals
Huckleberries nurture farm has Pygmy goats and wild deer and other animals frequent the site so it was necessary to bury and affix stock fencing to the posts and rails.
